The best cold calling software in 2026

46 tools compared. Features, user feedback and technical robustness: your prospecting deserves more than a polished demo. A guide published by Flunter, updated on 1 October 2026.

A sales team compares cold calling software in the Flunter office

The best tool depends on the job to be done.

For a B2B team that spends several hours prospecting, Flunter is our main recommendation: a specialist dialer, available from a single licence, with call tracking and CRM integrations. Equipping a switchboard or a contact centre calls for a different set of requirements.

  • B2B prospecting: more conversations

Flunter, then a shortlist of parallel dialers suited to your market.

  • Sales and support: one shared phone system

CloudTalk, RingCentral, Dialpad: inbound and outbound calls plus business tools.

  • Contact centre: running the operation

Five9 and contact centre platforms: campaigns and agent management.

46 cold calling tools, compared without mixing up use cases.

Prices are reference points we collected, not quotes covering the same scope. A $39 parallel add-on cannot be compared with a full €89 subscription. Currencies are kept as published, with no artificial conversion. A category describes the main positioning, not every capability: MonsterConnect is an assisted service, CallBlitz a coaching add-on, CloudTalk also offers parallel dialing and Apollo combines data, sequences and dialers. Open a row to read the tool's profile.

Tools shown: 46

  • Flunter brings parallel dialing, voicemail detection and conversation tracking together in a tool built for prospecting. Its appeal: start with a single licence, adjust the calling pace and keep a usable record of every conversation.

    What stands out
Up to 5 lines depending on the plan, power dialer, AI transcription and summary. Published integrations include HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Close, Boond Manager and Odoo.
    Limits and caveats
Starter is limited to 3 lines and 400 call credits per month (one credit per call placed). For a complex switchboard or an omnichannel contact centre, look at Flunter's Hunter and Pro plans. Flunter also offers custom plans that adapt to every use case, even the most complex ones. Compare specialist platforms too.
    To check during the trial
Test your actual CRM, the audio connection and usage on your own list. Ask for the Security Assurance Plan and the support terms. If not all your tools are integrated, ask for Flunter's API or MCP server, among the most capable on the market.
    What users say
Pierre Multhier reports 1,046 calls, 270 pick-ups and 7 meetings in less than two weeks. Other published testimonials mention smoothness and more comfortable prospecting. These are testimonials selected by Flunter, not an independent sample; individual dates are not shown.

  • Orum combines parallel dialing with phone data, coaching and collaboration tools. It is an alternative worth studying for organisations that want to industrialise the phone within an already structured sales stack.

    What stands out
CRM and sales engagement integrations, salesfloor and security documentation. The vendor states it runs its own telephony infrastructure with international coverage.
    Limits and caveats
Pricing is only available on quote; some modules, including coaching, are sold as add-ons. The purchase should cover the full scope.
    To check during the trial
Ask for the minimum number of seats, the countries included, support hours and the scope of security attestations.
    What users say
TrustRadius reviews from March 2026 praise the pace, reporting and coaching, while pointing to CRM integrations that could be better. Several reviews are flagged by the platform as incentivised. This feedback suggests what to test, without establishing an outage rate.

  • Nooks positions its dialer within a wider platform for prospecting, signals and AI coaching. The value goes beyond calling pace: the team can organise its sessions and use conversations to improve.

    What stands out
The pricing page describes multi-line dialing, two-way CRM sync, number health tracking and in-call assistance.
    Limits and caveats
No usable public price on the pricing page we reviewed. The scope may exceed the needs of a freelancer who only wants a dialer.
    To check during the trial
Test languages, numbers for your target market and the cost of the modules you will actually use. Check the Trust Center.
    What users say
In his review of 2 December 2025, Jack Schwegman values the collaboration, recordings and transcripts, but would like better communication with Salesforce and more relevant evaluations. TrustRadius flags this review as incentivised. This feedback does not prove that the same limits still apply today.

  • Koncert offers a range of dialers along with coaching, salesfloor and number management features. The variety of modes can suit an organisation that combines different calling strategies.

    What stands out
Parallel dialer, power dialer, remote coaching and number reputation tracking are presented by the vendor.
    Limits and caveats
The breadth of the platform means the quote needs a clear scope. The performance figures highlighted on the website are not a benchmark shared across all tools.
    To check during the trial
Test coverage and French numbers, integrations, add-ons and audio quality on the team’s real network.

  • Kixie shows why a feature name is not enough: its Multi-Line PowerDialer can dial up to 4 lines at once. Its behaviour needs comparing, rather than automatically filing it among sequential tools.

    What stands out
Telephony, CRM integration, live coaching and automations. The pricing grid separates single-line and multi-line.
    Limits and caveats
Human detection is presented as a premium option in the description. The unlimited calling shown covers the United States and Canada.
    To check during the trial
Get the included options and the cost of calls to France spelled out; check for differences between the description and the plan table.

  • PhoneBurner focuses on moving from call to call and on follow-up actions. It is an option for a team that prefers to handle one contact at a time while automating the tasks around the conversation.

    What stands out
Clearly positioned as a power dialer, with sales campaign management. A specialist alternative to general-purpose phone suites.
    Limits and caveats
Sequential mode keeps the wait before someone answers. The pricing grid could not be verified in this study; no figure is extrapolated.
    To check during the trial
Validate destinations, numbers, total cost and integrations. Measure the time saved on qualification and follow-up, not just dialing throughput.

  • CloudTalk should no longer be seen as a sequential calling tool only: its product page presents a Parallel Calling module. It makes it possible to run general telephony and prospecting sessions in the same environment.

    What stands out
Integration ecosystem, telephony and a documented parallel option. The module can be limited to the people who prospect.
    Limits and caveats
The $39 price is an add-on, not the total price. The page shows line counts that need confirming depending on the plan.
    To check during the trial
Check the compatible plan, available lines, minutes, destinations and local price. Insist on a sample invoice that includes the module.
    What users say
TrustRadius reviews from December 2022 praise routing, support and integrations; some ask for better documentation or simpler integration. This older feedback sheds light on usage, but cannot be used to judge the 2026 parallel module.

  • JustCall combines telephony, SMS and dialing tools. Its range covers several modes; the choice comes down to the plan and the engine actually enabled for sales reps.

    What stands out
The product pages present power, parallel and predictive dialing, with sales follow-up features.
    Limits and caveats
The documentation reserves some advanced campaigns for SalesPro. An entry-level phone subscription does not guarantee access to the mode you want.
    To check during the trial
Ask for a demo of the exact mode, how calls are billed and number availability in your market.

  • Close brings together sales management, email, SMS and calls. The main benefit is continuity between the list, the pipeline and the rep’s actions, without adding a separate tool at each step.

    What stands out
Power and predictive dialers, recording and follow-up tools presented in the product documentation.
    Limits and caveats
Available modes depend on the plan; call costs come on top. Adopting Close may also mean changing CRM.
    To check during the trial
Compare migration cost, required automations and the usage bill. Check which engine is included in the plan you sign up for.

  • Apollo combines sales data, sequences and calls. Its documentation now mentions parallel dialing and power dialing, so it should not be presented as simple click-to-call.

    What stands out
Continuity between contact research and campaign, with several dialing modes in the advanced module.
    Limits and caveats
The documentation makes power and parallel dependent on an add-on. Data credits and telephony are separate cost items.
    To check during the trial
Check the plan, the add-on, countries, numbers and the credits needed for the full scenario.

  • Outreach organises sales tasks and interactions. Outreach Voice lets reps make and receive calls from this environment: its main value is linking the phone to sequences and follow-up.

    What stands out
Calls from tasks and prospect records, with qualification and history kept within the sales process.
    Limits and caveats
A sales engagement platform is not automatically a specialist parallel dialer. Pin down which capabilities are native and which come from connected tools.
    To check during the trial
Separate the platform licence, telephony, third-party integrations and rollout cost.

Sources checked on 30 Sep 2026: Platform · Outreach Voice

  • Salesloft brings the phone and messaging into the management of sales sequences. It is an option for an organisation whose needs go beyond calling sessions alone.

    What stands out
Dialer, interaction tracking and the option to connect a third-party dialer, according to the official documentation.
    Limits and caveats
Parallel dialing capability should not be inferred from the presence of a dialer. Third-party tools may add their own cost.
    To check during the trial
Identify who actually handles the call, the recording and the data when an external dialer is connected.

Sources checked on 30 Sep 2026: Dialer and messaging · Dialer integrations

  • RingCentral covers business communications and contact centres. Selection should start with the product you need: a phone subscription does not have the same scope as a contact centre offer.

    What stands out
Broad scope of business communications and solutions for several functions across the company.
    Limits and caveats
The needs of an SDR working a B2B list may be narrower than a company-wide communications project.
    To check during the trial
Get the outbound engine, CRM integrations, countries, support and contractual obligations of the chosen product spelled out.

Sources checked on 30 Sep 2026: Products

  • Dialpad offers products for communications, sales and support. To compare it for prospecting, look at Sell and its capabilities rather than only the price of the Connect phone system.

    What stands out
AI tools around conversations, integrations and security documentation provided by the vendor.
    Limits and caveats
Similar product names do not guarantee the same outbound capabilities. Not every team needs the whole platform.
    To check during the trial
Test languages, the CRM, dialing capabilities and the features included in the exact contract.

Sources checked on 30 Sep 2026: Product range

  • 8x8 offers unified communications and contact centre solutions. The approach suits companies that want to manage several uses and sites, beyond sales prospecting alone.

    What stands out
Scope covering collaboration and customer service; rollout can be planned across the whole organisation.
    Limits and caveats
A unified communications offer is not enough to establish the capabilities of an outbound dialer. The exact product needs to be identified.
    To check during the trial
Ask for the outbound scope, destinations, integrations and service commitments attached to the offer.

Sources checked on 30 Sep 2026: Platform

  • Five9 belongs to the contact centre platform category. Including it in this guide helps distinguish a full customer service project from buying a prospecting tool for a few sales reps.

    What stands out
Cloud contact centre and customer service automation scope presented by the vendor.
    Limits and caveats
A licence price does not sum up the cost of a contact centre project. Configuration and rollout must be part of the comparison.
    To check during the trial
Get the outbound configuration, integrations, data governance and full go-live cost.

  • Trellus adds power or parallel dialing to the prospecting tools you already use, through an extension. The list of supported platforms includes Salesloft, Outreach, Apollo, HubSpot, Salesforce, Close, Lemlist, Attio and Google Sheets.

    What stands out
Wide choice of compatible platforms; the Power + Parallel plan adds multi-line dialing, voicemail drop and 8 extra numbers.
    Limits and caveats
The listed plans target individual users: live coaching, team analytics and reporting belong to the Business plan, on quote. The pricing page says nothing about international calls.
    To check during the trial
Exact compatibility with your CRM, extension permissions, calls to France and syncing of results.

Sources checked on 1 Oct 2026: Pricing

  • Salesfinity pairs a parallel dialer with up to five lines with live coaching and a virtual salesfloor. Voicemails and busy tones are filtered out so that only human pick-ups reach the rep.

    What stands out
Unlimited calls and up to five lines on every plan according to the vendor; integrations with Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo and ActiveCampaign.
    Limits and caveats
To call France from a standard plan, you need Enterprise Plus, the only plan that includes calls outside the United States and Canada. Conversations-per-hour figures are sales claims to check against your own list.
    To check during the trial
Connection delay, double pick-ups, cost of numbers and depth of CRM sync.

  • Elto states it can run up to six calls in parallel and detect voicemails, switchboards and IVRs. It offers integrations with the main sales tools.

    What stands out
Unlimited calls, up to six at a time; up to 10 US or UK outbound numbers included ($1/month per extra number); integrations with Salesforce, HubSpot, Apollo, Outreach, Salesloft, Gong and Trellus.
    Limits and caveats
The number of lines does not prove the number of useful conversations. The included numbers are US and UK: get the French scope spelled out.
    To check during the trial
Availability of French numbers, cost of calling mobiles, voicemail detection in French and plan terms.

  • ConnectAndSell combines technology, AI and human agents. Express Connect connects the rep to the first human voice; Precision Connect relies on agents who work past assistants and switchboards to reach a named decision-maker.

    What stands out
Unlimited number enrichment, transcription, conversation scoring and live coaching, with a dedicated account manager on the Express and Precision plans.
    Limits and caveats
The scope goes beyond a simple dialer licence and relies partly on external agents. Neither CRM integrations nor supported languages are specified on the pages we reviewed.
    To check during the trial

    What stands out
The Global Dialer targets teams prospecting in several countries; integrations with Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zoho and Microsoft Dynamics.
    Limits and caveats
The parallel dialer is a paid add-on on top of the sales engagement plan. The number of simultaneous lines is not stated on the pages we reviewed.

    Limits and caveats
Parallel dialing with up to five lines is mentioned in the Growth plan, on quote. No information on the countries covered appears on the pages we reviewed.

    What stands out
Two-way integration with Outreach, Salesloft, HubSpot and Salesforce; the 10-line plan includes international dialing.
    Limits and caveats
The 5-line plan covers the United States and Canada: international calling is reserved for the 10-line plan. Ten lines also make handling simultaneous pick-ups more important.
    To check during the trial
Exact contractual offer, destinations, audio delay and what happens to the other calls when a prospect answers.

    What stands out

  • Mojo pairs a one or three-line dialer with a lead manager and real estate data files. The three-line plan claims up to 300 calls per hour.

    What stands out
Dialer and lead management in the same tool, with one licence per agent who dials.
    Limits and caveats
The vendor states that coverage is limited to the United States, which on the face of it rules out calling France. Several options are billed on top of the licence.
    To check during the trial
Supported markets and numbers, required audio connection, import of your database and export of call history.
    What users say

  • VanillaSoft combines queue-based lead management, action automation and dialing. The parallel dialer dials up to five lines, alongside progressive and preview modes.

    What stands out
The queue pushes the next contact and the next action to the rep, which reduces manual lead sorting. The dialer page is available in French.
    Limits and caveats
No CRM integration is named on the pages we reviewed and the price is not public. Setting up queues and workflows is part of the project.

    What stands out
Predictive dialing, voicemail detection, number management and Salesforce integration, for sectors such as BPOs, insurance and lead generation.

Agents dial and transfer the decision-maker to the rep; the vendor claims 150 to 200 calls and 8 to 12 conversations with decision-makers per hour. Salesforce integration.
    Limits and caveats

    What stands out
Works with Salesloft, Outreach, Apollo, Aircall, Google Sheets or a plain mobile phone according to the vendor; group sessions and live coaching.
    Limits and caveats
This positioning means it cannot be counted as a standalone parallel dialing engine. You still need to keep and pay for the associated telephony.

  • Aircall is relevant when a company wants to unify inbound calls, support and sales. Its power dialer lets reps work through contacts while keeping the telephony and integrations ecosystem.

    What stands out
Routing, supervision, recording and an integrations catalogue. The power dialer is documented in the Professional plan.
    Limits and caveats
Do not compare the Essentials price with a fully equipped prospecting plan. The licence minimum and add-ons change the real invoice.

    What users say
The TrustRadius reviews we looked at particularly value the integrations and simplicity. Testimonials from June 2024 also report dropped calls or variable audio quality. They are historical: they justify checking during a trial, not claiming a current defect. Some are flagged as incentivised.

    What stands out
Business integrations, call monitoring, routing and analytics features. The page also presents additional communication and AI modules.
    Limits and caveats
The entry price for telephony is not the Business plan needed for the power dialer. Additional modules must be budgeted for.

    What stands out

  • Kavkom offers cloud telephony and a predictive dialer. This category addresses a need for campaigns and agent availability management, which differs from an individual dialer for a B2B sales rep.

    What stands out
Predictive dialing, supervision and filtering features presented in the vendor’s documentation.
    Limits and caveats
Sizing depends on the number of agents and the handling pace. A volume promise does not tell you the number of useful conversations.

  • Skipcall combines B2B prospecting and business telephony. The tool deserves a place on a shortlist when some people prospect intensively and others mainly need a business line.

    What stands out
The website presents recording, transcription and logging of conversations in the CRM, starting from a single licence.
    Limits and caveats
The telephony scope and the dialer scope must be distinguished. Compare conversation volumes and the features of each plan.
    To check during the trial
Check the plan needed for each role, quotas, callback handling and service commitments.

  • Reached combines parallel dialing, list management and CRM sync. Its positioning also emphasises call preparation, with an AI Smart Brief, and continuity between campaign and customer history.

    What stands out
Starter states 3 lines and 400 connected calls; Pro shows 5 lines and 1,000 connected calls. Recording and transcription are included in the plans.
    Limits and caveats
Some management features carry an asterisk on the pricing grid. The exact access conditions need confirming.
    To check during the trial
Ask for the DPA, subprocessors, the terms of unlimited calling and whether the management features are actually available.

  • Ubic offers up to 3 simultaneous calls, voicemail filtering and CRM integrations. Its about page mentions Groupe Positive: it would be misleading to describe it as an isolated project with no company behind it.

    What stands out
Hosting in Paris and French-language support stated. The website presents recording, transcription and automatic number rotation.
    Limits and caveats
The pricing page shows €160 with several billing periods. The public page does not allow this amount to be attributed with certainty to each of them.
    To check during the trial
Confirm the monthly or annual invoice, call usage terms and the contractual list of processing activities and subprocessors.

  • Referly ties its dialer to a signal-based prospecting approach. It will appeal to teams that want to prioritise contacts before starting a session, rather than treating every list the same way.

    What stands out
Transcripts sent to the CRM, local number rotation and number enrichment presented on the product page.
    Limits and caveats
The number of lines, the standalone dialer price and quotas are not detailed enough on the page we reviewed.
    To check during the trial
Get the sources of the signals, how enrichment providers handle contacts, the countries covered and the full cost spelled out.

Sources checked on 30 Sep 2026: Parallel dialer

  • Paradial offers parallel dialing, transcription and CRM sync. Its promise is to reduce waiting time during prospecting sessions.

    What stands out
The website states 5 lines, team reporting, French hosting and a DPA available on request.
    Limits and caveats
Trial information is inconsistent: the page shows both a 7-day free trial and a €14 path for 3 days. Get the applicable offer confirmed.
    To check during the trial
Get the trial terms, quotas and written support commitments; check subprocessors and maintenance continuity. No conclusion on code quality without an audit.

Comparison as of 30 September 2026, extended on 1 October 2026 for 19 tools: positioning, published prices and terms. "To be confirmed" means the point could not be established from the documents we reviewed. It does not mean the feature is missing. Each profile lists its sources and the points to check.

Two directory listings that need checking.

A directory can keep a listing after the product or its website has changed. These two vendors were reviewed but are not counted among the 46 solutions in the table.

Quack. As of 30 September 2026, the quack.so domain shows a domain parking page, with no verifiable product offer. That is not enough to conclude the company has closed; whether the dialer is still on sale remains to be confirmed.

Scriptify. Scriptify's current website presents Rehers, for sales training, and Quibbly, for asynchronous video. Older traces of its dialer exist, but they do not establish that it is still available. We therefore do not present an old price as an offer you can sign up for.

CallBlitz is a different case: its current offer is still documented, but it works as a coaching and salesfloor add-on.

Flunter. To make prospecting a real team discipline.

Choosing a tool goes beyond the "start calling" button. It involves your contact list, your conversations and your sales reps' time.

  • A product built for outbound

Adjustable parallel dialing, voicemail filtering and a power dialer to fit each session to its context. Flunter puts the rep's work on their lists and conversations first.

  • Engineers in charge

At Flunter, senior engineers build and maintain the service, working directly with carriers and suppliers. AI speeds up their work; their expertise in infrastructure, development and security drives decisions and incident resolution.

  • An identifiable company

Raliance, Flunter's parent company, has share capital of €1,180,000. A concrete fact about the company's structure, distinct from available cash and from service commitments.

  • An entrepreneur's track record

Romain Jacon co-founded Soluxan and grew it to more than €20M in revenue. Flunter's management reports a sale worth several million euros and hundreds of customers, from freelancers to large groups.

270 pick-ups and 7 meetings from 1,046 calls, in less than two weeks.

Your data deserves a precise answer.

Flunter publishes a DPA that names its subprocessors and describes its security measures. Primary hosting is in the European Union, but some processing involves international providers, including Twilio and OpenAI. We therefore do not present all data flows as exclusively French.

Power, parallel, predictive: three different approaches.

VoIP describes how voice is carried over an IP network, not a way of prospecting. A cloud phone system can therefore offer one or more of these engines. Likewise, an AI voice agent that speaks instead of a sales rep serves a different scenario from a dialer that connects two humans. To go further: Flunter's guide to dialing modes.

  1. Power dialer: one contact after another

The system automates dialing and moves straight to the next call. The rep keeps a sequential pace, which helps when each call needs preparation or when answer rates are high.

  2. Parallel dialer: several calls to find one conversation

The system dials several lines and connects the rep to one person. You need to measure connection delay, voicemail detection and how double pick-ups are handled.

  3. Predictive dialer: a pace set for a group of agents

The engine anticipates agent availability to decide when to dial. It requires campaign management and control of abandoned calls suited to the call floor.

An AI-generated dialer is not a telecoms team.

A convincing interface and five numbers ringing are not enough. When your team relies on the phone to sell, you are also buying the ability to diagnose, secure and restore the service.

Our position is clear: for business-critical activity, we favour a team of experienced engineers who master their infrastructure and work directly with their carriers. A project that depends on a single person, with no VoIP expertise and no proven recovery capability, carries a continuity risk that AI does not make go away.

Claude can generate code. It does not replace mastery of audio streams, routing, access rights, deployments and dealings with suppliers. Your prospecting should not depend on someone who cannot diagnose the code their AI generated.

This judgement concerns organisation and verifiable skills. It does not allow anyone to call a competitor less reliable based only on the age of its founder or its use of AI. Comparing real outages requires measurements.

Six questions to ask every vendor.

  • Team and continuity: who can step in?

Ask who owns voice, the backend, security and support. What happens if the lead person is away? Who handles updates and recovery after an incident? Ask for: responsibilities and escalation path.

  • VoIP infrastructure: what happens under load?

Test audio drops, connection latency and double pick-ups. Ask about carrier dependencies, monitoring and behaviour during a partial outage. Ask for: incident history and incident procedure.

  • Software quality: how do changes reach production?

Code reviews, tests, progressive rollouts, rollbacks: the point is how well changes are controlled. A marketing website tells you nothing about code quality. Ask for: the release process.

  • Data and AI: where does each piece of information go?

Separate contacts, audio, transcripts, summaries and logs. Who processes what? In which country? For how long? Is the data used to train models? Ask for: the DPA and the list of subprocessors.

  • Access and reversibility: who sees what, and how do you leave?

Check user permissions, support access, export, deletion and backups. Test getting your data out as carefully as getting it in. Ask for: the access policy and export procedure.

  • Support and commitments: who answers when calls stop?

Hours, languages, incident priority and contractual commitments matter more than a "premium support" badge. Ask for: SLA response times and scope.

A great demo does not fix an outage.

If nobody can explain the telecoms dependencies, data access or recovery procedure, the vendor is not ready for business-critical use. Demand answers and written commitments. An "AI-secured" promise is not a guarantee; an unpublished document is still something to ask for.

What did we actually find?

  • Flunter: public DPA, subprocessors and measures described; Raliance's share capital verified. Senior make-up of the team as stated by management.

  • Orum and Nooks: Orum publishes security and infrastructure information; Nooks provides a Trust Center and presents its engineering work.

  • Other alternatives: the available information is recorded in their profiles. When a technical headcount, process or commitment cannot be established, ask for evidence before shortlisting the tool. A lack of information is not a negative audit.

Certifications mentioned by a vendor are not an audit carried out for this guide.

Compare an invoice, not a headline price.

Ask each vendor to price the same number of users, the same countries, the same volume and the same features. Distinguish attempted calls, connected calls, conversations and minutes: these units are not interchangeable.

  • Licences: minimum seats, manager roles, commitment and billing.

  • Calls: destinations, landlines or mobiles, overage and the conditions behind "unlimited".

  • Add-ons: parallel dialer, AI, CRM, extra numbers, SMS and data enrichment.

  • Rollout: migration, setup, training and team time.

The question to send: "For 3 sales reps calling French mobiles, what is the total monthly cost with our volume, our numbers, our CRM and the coaching features? Which lines could be added to that invoice?"

Plans, prices and terms may change after 30 September 2026. The links in each profile lead to the vendors' pages.

A trial that leads to a decision.

A demo checks that a feature exists. A trial checks that it works for your team. Here is the protocol we recommend; it was not run on the 46 tools in this study.

  1. Set the rules before you start

Same target, same list quality, same time slots and a shared definition of a useful conversation. Record your baseline performance.

  2. Rotate tools across comparable groups

Randomly split separate, comparable contacts between the tools. Rotate reps and time slots to limit the effect of the individual seller or the day. Avoid calling the same people again to favour a result.

  3. Measure what matters

Useful conversations per hour, qualified meetings booked and then held, connection delay, detection errors, abandoned calls, incidents and admin time. Keep a record of session lengths and headcount.

  4. Test the painful cases

A network drop, a CRM duplicate, an inbound callback, an export and a support request. These scenarios reveal the operational quality a demo does not show.

  5. Decide on the full cost

Divide the cost by the number of useful conversations or qualified meetings held. A small sample is not enough to conclude that one tool is better across the board.

A cross-checked desk review based on explicit criteria.

This comparison is based on an analysis of public information available as of 30 September 2026. The aim is to inform the choice of a phone prospecting solution by examining how well it fits each use case, its documented features and the information available to assess how it is run.

A scope of 46 solutions. The study covers the main market categories: parallel dialers, power dialers, sales engagement platforms, VoIP phone systems and contact centres. Assisted connection services and add-on tools are identified according to what they actually do. Two further offers are treated separately, as their current availability could not be confirmed. This distinction avoids treating products that meet different needs as equivalent.

Sources ranked by the type of information. The analysis favours primary sources: official websites, product documentation, pricing pages, contractual terms and data processing documents. Information on legal entities is cross-checked against the company registers consulted. Customer testimonials and public user reviews add real-world usage observations to this documentation. They help identify benefits and difficulties worth examining, without being treated as measurements representative of all customers.

A common reading grid. Each solution is examined along the same dimensions, as far as the information is available:

  • Fit with the need: user profiles, sales organisation and target markets.

  • How calling works: dialing modes, handling of pick-ups, voicemail and callbacks.

  • Fit with day-to-day work: CRM, sync, tracking and supervision.

  • Full cost: licences, calls, add-ons, commitment and terms of use.

  • Operational continuity: available information on the team, support, infrastructure and service commitments.

  • Data governance: hosting, subprocessors, access and contractual documentation.

Documented information versus proven performance. A feature announced by a vendor is presented as such. On its own, it is not proof of performance in real conditions. Likewise, unpublished information remains to be confirmed: its absence does not show that the capability is missing. The profiles link to the sources consulted and spell out the points that need checking during a trial or contract discussions.

User feedback in context. The material includes testimonials published by Flunter and a selection of public reviews of Orum, Nooks, Aircall and CloudTalk (TrustRadius), plus Mojo Dialer, VanillaSoft, CallHippo, Convoso and CallTools (Capterra). Their age and any incentives are flagged when identified. This qualitative analysis does not cover the 46 solutions evenly and is not based on interviews carried out specifically for this publication.

Conclusions in proportion to the evidence. Because offers and documentation vary so widely, it is not possible to give each tool a comparable overall score. The guide therefore favours reasoned assessments, explicit limits and concrete validation criteria. It is neither a technical or security audit nor a performance benchmark run under identical conditions.

Editorial responsibility. This guide is published by Flunter, which sells one of the solutions reviewed and recommends it for B2B prospecting. This conflict of interest is stated openly. The recommendation is an editorial choice; factual information is accompanied by its sources and internal statements are identified as such.

Answers before you choose.

  • It depends on the job to be done. For a B2B team that prospects several hours a day, our recommendation is Flunter: a specialist parallel dialer, available from a single licence, with call tracking and CRM integrations. To equip a switchboard with inbound and outbound calls, look instead at a cloud phone system such as CloudTalk, Aircall or RingCentral. For a contact centre with dozens of agents, Five9 or Diabolocom meet a different set of requirements.

  • Public prices collected at the end of September 2026 range from about $15 to nearly $400 per user per month depending on the mode and scope: €75 at Skipcall, €89 excl. VAT at Flunter, €160 at Ubic, $299 at Salesfinity. Several vendors do not publish prices and work on quotes. Always compare a full invoice: licences, calls, numbers, add-ons and commitment.

  • A power dialer calls your contacts one after another and moves on automatically. A parallel dialer places several calls at once and passes you the person who picks up. The parallel dialer suits lists where many calls go unanswered; the power dialer is still better for strategic accounts where each call needs preparation. Flunter offers both modes.

  • Yes, as long as you check the minimum number of licences. Aircall and Ringover show a minimum of 3 users on the plans we reviewed, whereas Flunter and Skipcall start at one licence. Also look at setup time: a freelancer does not need a rollout project.

  • Most tools offer 3 to 5 lines, sometimes more. More lines do not mean more meetings: the result depends on list quality, pick-up rate and how double pick-ups are handled. Start with 3 lines, measure useful conversations per hour, then adjust.

  • It depends on each type of processing: contacts, recordings, transcripts and summaries may go through different providers. Ask for the DPA and the list of subprocessors. At Flunter, the public DPA states primary hosting in the European Union and international providers for some processing, including Twilio and OpenAI.

  • Run a trial on your real lists, with the same rules for each tool: same target, same time slots, same definition of a useful conversation. Measure conversations and qualified meetings per hour, test the difficult cases (network drop, CRM duplicate, support request) and divide the full cost by the number of meetings held.

Your next conversation deserves better than a ringing phone.
